aint this familiar

took this pic at e 11th floor of the office building last nite. cos we were working late and theres no1.. hehe. i've been wantin to do tt ever since i found out e beetle was there. jean was super excited, I tried to stay cool. it was a real beetle sawed in half, it still has its dashboard & everything on it. though its a left hand drive.. hmm.. anyway tts another reason to look forward to work each day. lol.

Bangkok Thailand

My pride and joy i brought back from the trip to thailand. got them at Chit Lom market. So happy! Its pretty sad cos the 3500 tenants at the market will be forced to move soon. when tt happens, i wouldnt know where i can get beetle stuff anymore. Its been hard to find, or maybe I just dont know where to look.

hmm.. run out of things to say. mental block now.. seeya..

killer shoes

i could nv hav imagined how an innocent pretty pair of shoes could hav such vicious side to them. my god, i could hav died, literally. lol ok so i'm exaggerating, but only a little. my skin came off as i was rushing to work at millenia from city hall. i wanted to take the bus so tt i could drop nearby but i boarded the bus heading the wrong direction and ended up at eunos mrt, thus arriving at cityhall. boy was it a tough day for walking. today was a little better as i stuck a plaster to my feet but still i'm quite sure i was walking with a limp during lunch and on my way home.

i'm lucky, since i'm goin off to bangkok tmr, visting relatives. will be back on sunday, so i can let my feet rest and hopefully heal before monday. and if i'm lucky i can get a softer and preferbly a 'vegetarian' pair of shoes suitable for work. i'm telling ya the shoes are honestly tryin to eat me alive!

hmm, i'll try to get some budget souveniers for pple and postcards.. hmm.. yea will be taking budget airline (tiger airways) from budget terminal for the first time, wonder how its like. everything must budget, now tt my pay's also budget.. lol.

anyway, things look good. i hope. :)

Contented

what can i say, I was getting prettly close to being desperate for a job. I hate the feeling of doing nothin and simply waiting, and sorta wasting my time. which is why i was quite relieved that my bro needed my help at his stall when 1 of his workers fell ill.

anyway, I've got a job now, startin Monday, it'll be pretty scary but i'm optimistic. what will be will be, as long as i've done my part. i dont mind long hours and hard work and a seriously 'cmi' pay so its ok with me. kinda lucky that Jean will be joining me so she'll help cushion lotsa nervousness that i'll be feeling. another prob now is my attire, apparently i'm too choosy abt wat i want to wear, duh. so now i've got 2 pants and abt 4 blouse. not really enough, but maybe i can try my luck tmr at Parkway, again. and i got my hair done straight, i honestly prefer it the way it was but i believe it'll be more presentable, at least neater, now for work.

well wat else, ohh got the beetle done today, fixed the starter, thermostat for air conditioning, and the hazard light. yay! looking forward for a drive soon! anyone wants to join me? i miss it too much, especially when i'm out late.

so min's bday is rnd the corner so we kinda celebrated for her today. hope she enjoyed herself and i'd like to wish her and the rest of the gals as well, luck n happiness. both of which i believe are 2 of the most impt things in life. luck which we cant control and happiness which we can.
Its a simple but great feeling which may not be so easy to achieve.
